Tjss is a cosmopolitan United States citizen who supports the creation of the United Nations Parliamentary Assembly as soon as is feasible. Accordingly, Tjss is a member of the World Federalist Movement, and supports many non-governmental organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and UNICEF.
Tjss believes that the "conflict" in Darfur is genocide, that the Government of Sudan is actively supporting the Arab militias in their persecution of the non-Arab tribes, and that the African Union is unable to stop the violence given their peacekeeping force's current strength and mandate. Tjss supports a 15,000-strong UN peacemaking force with a robust mandate to end the violence.
He rejects the belief that global warming is not real, and sees climate change as one of the top threats the world faces today. Although officially a US citizen (at right, you can see he considers himself a world citizen), Tjss is constantly at odds with the current administration's absolute refusal to participate in solutions to world problems, including global warming.
Tjss supports the ratification by the United States of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (which only the US and Somalia, which does not have an organized government, have not put into effect).
