Mike Ngala Haloba was born on 03 October 2006 in Livingstone,Zambia. His mother was Christabel Nshando Haloba (nèè Mudengi) and father Robert Hamutonko Haloba.
Mike was named after his late paternal grandfather. His name Ngala means "bell" in their native language Tonga. Mike sadly passed away due to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia on 25 February 2021 after fighting for just 7 months in Mazabuka, Zambia. He was buried in Livingstone to a Pathfinder sendoff at a service held at Dambwa Main Seventh Day Adventist Church.
