This template is meant to be subst'd in when changing the section heading of an existing talk page section. The template displays a message noting the old title and a signature, and includes an {{anchor}}
to preserve links to the old section header (either from other pages or in edit summaries). It looks like this (I've inserted some dummy content below to show how it looks on top of a discussion). Note that both § New title and § Old title point to the section below:
