What I Do ( on Wikipedia, not in life)

Basically what I do is create and edit pages on charactors in fantasy books and films. I also add details on plots on such pages, and sometimes clarify rumor from fact on them as well. That's about all I do! Although, I also create pages on little known actors and actresses in fantasy films. Mostly just stuff on fantasy!

A Bit About Me

Hi. My name is Rachel. I don't consider myself to be at all grown up, as I'm only seventeen. When I am in fact grown up, I wish to be a writer. I have already started my first book. A fantasy one, obviously. I also like to think that one day I'll write film scripts. I read quite a bit, and have a library that is my pride and joy. My favorite authors are Eoin Colfer, J. R. R. Tolkien, J. K. Rowling, and Garth Nix I also play the viola, the piano, and the guitar, and have for some time. I wish to at some point live in Venice, Italy,Seattle, Washington, London and Vancouver. I strongly dislike when people call sci-fi and fantasy the same thing. I adore converse and 55% dark chocolate. I know more Chuck Norris jokes than you do. I love bright colored skinny jeans, and I think hip hop music is overrated. My favorite beverage is Earl Grey. I love Jimmy Stewart films. I scored a 2552 on the wikipediholic test. That means I'm addiccted to Wikipedia, apparently. Doctor Who is currently my favorite television show, and I think that the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith) is doing rather well so far.

Music

I am a huge fan of Dave Matthews Band, the Beatles, the Fray, the Goo Goo Dolls,Tokyo Police Club and John Mayer, but really there are too many bands to name.If I had to choose a favorite, however, I must say I'd go with Led Zeppelin. I used to be a big emo music fan, but those days are long past. Indie is quite nice, though. I like lots of light and classic rock. I also enjoy classical music and Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks as well as Lord of the Rings soundtracks. Hans Zimmer, who composed the POTC soundtracks, is an absolute musical genius, and you should look him and his music up, because the Hans Zimmer sized void in your heart that you don't even know is there is yearning to be filled. I very strongly dislike country music for some reason. Nothing against those like it. (clears throat...)

Books

I am a fantasy book fanatic. My favorite books are as follows (these are not in order!): the Sabriel trilogy, Harry Potter series, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Inheritance Trilogy, the Artemis Fowl series, the Inkheart series, thea Series of Unfortunate Events series, the Thief Lord,The Pendragon series and the Airborn series. I also absolutly adore Maniac Magee, The Perks of Being a Wall Flower, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Tweak as well as many others, and I'm afraid I don't like typing enough to name the rest.

Films

I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Harry Potter films (though they are not nearly as good as the books), and the Pirates of the Caribbean films. I also relish watching the films, Fiddler on the Roof and Forrest Gump. My current favorite films are Fight Club and V for Vendetta, as well as Pulp Fiction, The Matrix (only the first one), and Pride and Prejudice. There are too many other films, such as Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and Garden State, to name that I adore, so I'm not even going to try. I should mention that I am a cinemaphile, therefore, I know really pointless facts about film and actors, and I often can't contain spouting these tidbits of information, much to the dismay of those around me. :)
