Amanda "Manda" Best is played by Josie Lawrence, and is an old friend (and flame) of Phil Mitchell. She was first seen on screen on 6th March 2009 when she appeared at Walford's community centre. It is here she met up with Minty after not seeing him for over 20 years. Manda explained that she gave up her job to become a pottery teacher. Manada revealed that while she was dating Phil, Minty used to hate her.
