Rubber band weapon is a toy weapon or weapon powered by one or more rubber bands, such as slingshot, rubber band gun and others. It can be professionally made, improvised or 3d printed.
Rubber band weapons can be used as toy weapons or tools for hunting small game.[1][2][3] Main projectiles used in rubber band weapons are paper missiles[4], sticks and arrows[1], and any other object that is suitable to be launched from the rubber band weapon.
As rubber band weapons can be made with easily available resources and technology, they are often used as insurgency weapon by guerrillas and rebelious groups.[5] Some rubber band weapons can be used to launch greanades.[6]
