Emilia Radu (also known as YEM$iCK) is a Romanian artist and music producer. She is known for her musical production on her debut song "SAID I'M COMIN'" featuring Southern Katt. She is also known for her Youtube videos.

Life and career

Early life

Emilia Mihaela Radu was born on May 25, 2005 in Iași, Romania. Both of her parents are Romanian, located in the North Side of Iași. She started her musical career in early 2021, publishing instrumental tracks on Soundcloud. She graduated high school at 'Colegiul Național Garabet Ibrăileanu' in 2023.

2019-2022: Career beginnings

During second year in high school, Emilia explored different artistic areas where she found her passion for music. Inspired by many musicians (such as Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, Channel Tres and Little Simz) she taught herself how to produce tracks. Later on, she discovered Southern Katt, an up-and-coming artist, which she collaborated with.

Since she was a child, she was eager to try different things, starting from video production, editing, photography, animation, design and later on, music production. One of Emilia's early work has been published on her Instagram page, which is a stop-motion animation, following the lyrics for a Frank Ocean song named 'Comme des Garçons'.

Later in life, she began to stick more to photography choosing a film and vintage aesthetic. She offered photography sessions for her friends, building up her experience in this field. During high school, her work has been recognized by her school, which offered her more opportunities in photographing more events, as well as using her video production skills for professional purposes where she also offered a course for other students interested in this type of activity.

2023-2024: Current activities

Emilia is now a full-time student abroad studying music production and business in London. She collaborated with her brother and his girlfriend in a musical project for entertainment. She also photographed an event where her classmates performed, uploading images to her professional photography account on Instagram.

Emilia currently runs her own website and an active Fiverr page where she is open to offer freelance services for photography and graphic design.
