editSeveral questions regarding your article...
- What/Who/Where is "The Republic of Weurding"
- Is this some kind of test/joke article?
- Are you planning to fix it?
- Did you know that your? edit appeared to have been done under an anonymous IP?
If you decide to respond to this, please reply on my usertalk page. Thank you. --science4sail talkcon 02:26, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
There is a book called Rite and Reason. in it, it explains a political scenario in which a government seems to be in chaos. While it does seem strange, it is all part of a book. I forgot to log in earlier, sorry for the mishap. WikieZach| talk 02:32, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- It gives a scenario in a fake republic. The book explains how easily a single representative can effect a parliamentary vote. it does seem strange, but the book is trying to make a point. WikieZach| talk 02:40, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- The book is called "Rite and Reason" (and is a personal favorite of mine) mostly because of how strange yet interesting it is. WikieZach| talk 02:49, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think I get the idea now (I also added category:fictional senators to it). Is there an article on the book (if not, what's the title)? A link to that might be useful. --science4sail talkcon 02:45, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Special Air Service Article Vandalism
editSaw your revert, but noticed no warning was placed on vandal's talk page. Just looked up IP and this is a serial vandal IP from way back (warned, blocked....back at it again). HJ 03:33, 27 January 2007 (UTC)\
- Yeah, I apparently keep forgetting to leave warning messages (I normally seem to deal with {{subst:test}}) onetime vandals, so I've grown out of the habit of warning <kick myself>. --science4sail talkcon 03:57, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- No worries...I had same experience and gave them no mind until my watch page went over 300 and then I noticed the same vandals popping up and THEN noticed there were several chronic and repeat offenders (warned and blocked over and over or just warned and never blocked), but when I sought admin assistance to block, I was told "no warning, no block" even when the pranksters were in the midst of an attack. I have too much respect for SAS and the vandal apparently had little. Didn't want to jump into chasing down the prankster without alerting you. Cheers, HJ 08:46, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
I hope i'm doing this whole talk page dealie correctly!

At any rate, thank you very much for your message of welcome. As you can see, i have been enthusiastically editing my userpage, but somehow messed up and nested my groups of userboxes within one another. i tried to remedy this using a table, but it did not work. Would you be willing to inspect my code and show me where and how i messed up, and how i can achieve the general formatting i've got sans-table? Thank you so much! MiraFirefly 02:41, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Is the Wikipedia:Babel the problem? I'll see what I can do... --science4sail talkcon 02:43, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
i'm unsure of the problem's root; one way or another, my primary concerns for the moment are un-nesting the userbox groups while keeping the general layout, and learning what i did wrong so i can avoid this difficulty in future edits. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated! n_n MiraFirefly 02:48, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Edit: Huzzah, i see you've fixed it! What was the root of the problem? MiraFirefly 02:54, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Don't put a space between the userboxes when using {{userboxtop|AAA!}} and {{userboxbottom}}. Just press the enter (or return) key between boxes. --science4sail talkcon 02:56, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! i will keep that in mind in the future! MiraFirefly 03:11, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks

Why is there a {{hangon}} on your talk page (see here)? No one is going to delete it.--science4sail talkcon 01:41, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Bloatee, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.--science4sail talkcon 01:41, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to User talk:Science4sail, even if your ultimate intention is to revert them. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you.--science4sail talkcon 01:51, 8 February 2007 (UTC) Note: this was in response to this

Madden NFL 07
editPlease do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the Madden NFL 07 page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --science4sail talkcon 02:57, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- IT ISN'T NONSENSE IF YOU'VE PLAYED THE GAME. IT MAY BE A SLANTED CHOICE OF WORDS BUT EVERYTHING IS TRUE.--Honorman 03:04, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- In response to your outburst, I gues I'll have to do some talking:
- please calm down; yes, I've played the game.
- Wikipedia is not the place to express your personal feelings about the game (See Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought and Wikipedia is not a soapbox). Now, if you could find an article having your opinion, you could reference it in under "Criticisms".
- If you don't want to find a reference, go rant on your myspace or something like that.
- Also, complaints of faulty programming are common among all video games. This is generally due to stress or the Fight-or-flight response. Unless you can produce actual research on your findings, they will remain unencyclopedic. --science4sail talkcon 03:18, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Tom Umberg Semiprotect
editNote: See these edits for context 1,2
It may not actually semiprotect the article, but as I have been observing it has been enough to fool them to stop editing the page :) --Ozgod 02:11, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Welcome Box
editYou have one of the nicest welcome boxes I've yet seen on Wikipedia. There should be some sort of award for awesome welcome boxes.
Mathteacher1729 01:53, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- thanks, but...I didn't make it. There's a lot of great welcome boxes stored here, some better than others. --science4sail talkcon 01:58, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Just wanted to second the above's praise generally. Most people only use the standard one - in fact I came here looking to find out which one you used on a user's page :) Will check out category now. Orderinchaos78 00:54, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Hello
editPlease calm down
editPlease, take a chill pill.
As other users have said, adding nonsense (yes, "LEFT COASTTTTTTT STRAIGH TUP YOUNG" is considered nonsense) is considered vandalism. Resorting to the use of personal attacks and insults does not solve the problem. If you are not sure what constitutes a useful edit, please discuss it on the article's talk page. I would recommend that this kind of effort would be better spent on Uncyclopedia. Thank you.--science4sail talkcon 02:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- Excuse me but I didn't write that69.244.73.244 02:29, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about that then. Somebody on this IP (probably not you, judging from the correct spelling) keeps adding nonsense to articles. You might want to consider getting a user account to distinguish yourself.--science4sail talkcon 02:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
