Clean up


Merging
  • Place {{mergefrom|Source|Talk page|date=December 2024}} on the destination page (to be merged to) and start discussion on the talk page.
  • Place {{mergeto|Dest page|Talk page|date=December 2024}} on the source page (to be merged) and link to the above discussion on the talk page.


POV issues
  • Place a template at the top of the page with: {{unbalanced}}.
  • Any statements that smack of POV but difficult to re-word can be given a superscript note with: {{POV-statement|date=December 2024}} .


References and Citations
  • Facts that need citations should get a {{Fact|date=December 2024}} tag for a superscript note.
  • If an article (with or without reference sources) fails to cite specific facts use the {{citations missing|(section name/article)|date=December 2024}} template at the top of the page.
  • For articles that list no reference sources at all, the {{unreferenced|(section name/article)|date=December 2024}} template should go at the top of the page and the {{unreferencedsection}} template can go at the beginning of any section that particularly needs sources.
Vandalism warnings
  • Leave the {{subst:uw-test1|Article}} template for a test or first edit.
  • Use the {{subst:uw-vandalism*|Article}} template for suspected vandalism * = 1,2,3,4 to indicate number of warnings, or 4im to skip directly to 4.
  • Don't forget to check the users contribution history.
Other userpage templates
  • Leave {{Summary}} for those who consistently forget to put an edit summary
  • Leave {{Tilde}} for users who forget to sign their comments
