editJust to say Hi.
VMAC 02:11, 2 November 2005 (UTC)
From me: Banaana king
editHey, thanks for all the help. After I've created the Banaana King Wikipedia article, I was wondering if it would be okay for me to put a link to that article on a new website that I'm working on. Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you!
Accident
editIt was unintentional. I did not know that I had blanked it. EinsteinMC2 21:10, 2 November 2005 (UTC)
Oh no!
editHi! I don't believe we've met, but I stalk your user page because I like that you greet lots of people. I couldn't help but notice your drastic update. Why so stressed? Please don't leave! Anything a concerned stranger can do to help? --NymphadoraTonks 21:39, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

editHey there Sango123 how have you been, i'm fine, but when i saw your user page i can tell you you pretty stressed out so, i just wanted to say i'm sorry if i bug about images and whatnot, i just hope your not mad at me in particular.
Hoping you feal a lot better soon. Dumoren 03:56, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
Thank you!
editThanks very much for your welcoming! I feel like my small minor edits on the Apollo pages and the (laugh) O.J. Simpson pages are not for anything. I basically try to add little tidbits of information and make Wikipedia even more easier to navigate. My goal, currently, although it is small, is to link all the missions to the given astronauts involved in Mercury/Gemini/Apollo. Thanks again for your welcome! ChrisSimpson 02:28, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
Thank you Sango123
editI appreciate the welcome and I look forward to working with all of the amazing editors here! Kidigus 03:21, 6 November 2005 (UTC)

I'm a year eight, if your wondering.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to deal with a cleanup in isle 3. Thanks again, [[User:Mysekurity|Mysekurity]] [[additions | e-mail]] 22:52, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
Hi Sango123. Thank you for welcoming me. I guess you are my mentor. I have already added a new word to the dictionary and will shortly be contributing an article or two. One problem I have got already is the conflict between American and English English. It means that there has got to be a quite a lot of redirecting to get article references in each language. That is going to be fun or is it? By the way, I can't work out where to sign Cheers Dougart
Hoorah!
editWelcome back, friend! May the servers be fast and your edits fruitful! --NymphadoraTonks 17:55, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

I noticed you performed a revert in the Gold farmer article, and since I'm rather unsure of where to proceed from where the situation currently stands, may I ask you for help, since you've visited the article? I'm not sure if the IP is guilty of vandalism, violation of NPOV, or what, but at least he is trying to make the article NPOV. I just personally think it's fine the way it is, and since I still haven't figured my way around the whole site yet, I'm curious as to what I should do next. Your help in this is appreciated, and thanks in advance. Mo0[talk] 22:59, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Problem
editSango123, im in desperate need for your help, i went to add a new message to ask you something but for some reason when i clicked on the save page button, alot of the other wikipedian messages disappeared. lucky for us, i had time time to copy it before it fully disappeared.

Thank you, dear Sango!
editMy dear Sango, thank you so very much for both your beautiful words of comfort in my absence and the lovely welcoming wishes. Both of them really, really mean a lot to me. You sure are a wonderful, loving person. Approaching a complete stranger like me and offering his support and friendship, is not something I'll easily forget. If I have learned something while I was away, is that there are many wonderful persons in WP, and you are a great example of this. Geez, I don't wanna be sad when I'm so happy now... All I really want to say to you, is thank you, and you've won a friend in me. A real big, BIG hug to you - be sure it is but the first of many I'll send you :) Thank you, my dear Sango! Shauri smile! 21:20, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

new user
editI was given the task of talking about Wiki's at our monthly staff meeting. Just a short, 20 minute presentation. I have used only one wiki and thought I would get into Wikipedia and give it a try. Would it be okay if I added a short little blurb about our library? I thought that way, they may even want to change or enhance what I put up.
Thank you for your time.
Cheryl Mathwig
Thanks
editHi thanks for the heads up your the third person who has contacted me about my sig in the last 30 min lol. I assure you I am trying to remedy this. I'm useing Mozilla Firefox as well. Just switched to it last night maybe there is a connection. I also believe there are technical problems on the wiki that might be causeing all of this. Again thanks so much for letting me know it is much appreciated. KnowledgeOfSelf | talk. 00:09, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
Question
editHow do you write in a different font? J.Steinbock 23:42, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
Redirections?
editI tried to access Prisoners_Dilemma, and it doesn't exist. Then I searched for it, and i found it under Prisoners_dilemma. Notice the case. I double-checked it, and it still is the same. There are two possibilities: either wikipedia must make a small change in its case-sensitivity, or there must come a redirect. In the last case, is there any way to do that as an ordinary editor? Oh, and btw: cool to see that people around here know the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. The movie was worthless, but the books are infinitely minus one cool. Nazgjunk 20:04, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
Poetry?
editI just read i could collect a cookie, so here we go:
Deadly Tired
editWhy?
I do.
not know.
Still I am doing it.
I love it.
I just go on.
I am with friends.
I run.
With pain.
To stop?
I want not.
Why?
I know not.
A sick distance.
I force my legs.
To go on.
To suffer on.
This.
Is just.
Idiotely cool.
This is just a crude translation from Dutch, the original version is way better.
Another one:
Deep
editWatch
At the red paint
On the graveyard.
Watch
At the ink
In
the news paper
See
The ruins
In the world
This one was slightly easier to translate. It's a sad thing my best work (which i think is quite beautiful at times) isn't translatable.

Tele-evangelists
editHi, just wanted to drop you a note about the ((pov)) tags. It wasn't removed specifically from the TE article, but that was one of many that's was simply recategorized as a religious NPOV dispute, rather than a political or war-based one in an attempt to clean up Wikipedia. Actually hearing the story behind it though, I'd personally edit out any POV bias you see, dealing with it on the talk page, and if the user continues to vandalize, simply use a ((test3)) or ((test4)) on their talk page, and then report them for a 24-block to smarten up - or a more permenant ban if they're not a regular contributor to WP outside of that article. Best of luck! Sherurcij 21:08, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
Hello. Round four of Wikipedia Mind Benders will open on Thursday, December 1. This round will be drastically different from round three; part one will consist of a creative project, and part two will be developed from there. The full details will be released when the round opens. Time and speed should not be major factors in this round; thus, there is no exact opening time for the round as speed will not factor into the scoring. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 22:50, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
P.S. Please add Wikipedia:Mind Benders/to do to your watchlist to receive further announcements; the NotificationBot is currently down and all notifications will be placed on that page. Sorry for any inconvenience.

hello
editHello Eeee (?), I suppose you're right for your comment concerning the comics pictures, but your 'cleaning' is maybe too 'hard'. You erase some of my "external link" that are totally in the Wikipedia spirit in my mind. For example, why erase the link to the Marc Silvestri's gallery in his page? By the way, I'm cleaning my own mess (for the pictures) in other pages but let's discuss about the external links...
Sorry for my english, I'm a foreigner.

Standstill at BAP
editHi Sango. Long time no see. Yeah, I had noticed that when I returned from my Wikibreak. As usual, when discussions start prolonging without a conclusion in sight, people just loose interest and move on, leaving things unresolved.
A Call to action might work at first — but then again, it might not — but I've found that the best way to provide closure for the abandoned discussions and get the forum moving again is just to step in and, well, for lack of a better term, "lay down the law". Pretty much what I usually do is say: the consensus for this discussion so far is X. Since the discussion has reached a standstill, I will carry out this decision if no one objects or posts here in the next 48 hours.. Usually, when there's someone even remotely interested, they'll come back and resume discussions, and if not, at least that discussion will finally be concluded (and there'd be no point in leaving it hanging there if no one cares to comment anymore).
I've been meaning to do just that, but I still haven't managed the time to read the somewhat lengthy discussions that were posted during the time I was absent (and without doing that, I can't do what I've just said). I was hoping to get around to it over the next couple of weeks, but if you are already up to date with what's going on there, you might do it, if you want. Or we might try a call to action, but I don't think it will really get the older discussions going again. It might rekindle the forum for new ones though, which is also good. Redux 19:36, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks, Sango. Will do. I couldn't believe that that discussion was still open when I returned... I'll see what I can do about it. But then again, most likely all I'll be able to do is carry out whatever consensus might have been reached during the discussion — and if there's no discernable consensus, we might have to archive it as "inconclusive", as it has happened more often than I'd like over there. Redux 15:40, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
