Ryan Timothy Colson (born July 31, 2000) is a Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Coast Guard. He attended K-8 St. George School and graduated from Oceanside Highschool, Rockland, Maine. After high school he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard serving at Coast Guard Small Boat Station Port Canaveral, Florida. After serving 01 years in Florida he attended school at Training Center Petaluma, California. After achieving the rank of E-4 he received orders to Coast Guard Sector Northern New England and obtained the rank of E-5. He has assisted in the lives of 50+ people and assisted in the saving or recovery of over 19 million U.S dollars. During his tenure in Portland, Maine he earned his Emergency Medical Technician License and has served with neighboring towns. On July 4, 2019 he was attending an event and noticed a vehicle on the side of the road. He stopped and realized the person was not breathing and had suffered a possible heart attack. He provided cardiac pulmonary resuscitation until the ambulance arrived and transported the patient to the hospital. Due to his actions he received the Coast Guard Letter of Commendation.
