Hello, I am an editor based in Warsaw, Poland. I have studied sociology, but enjoy contributing to a variety of topics.
My interests concentrate around sociology of knowledge, film history, philosophy and philately. I have lived in Belgium. Scotland and the United States, and enjoy writing about their history. I started editing in 2021 with a design to contribute to articles on people who are underrepresented on Wikipedia - as a user from an non-anglophone country, I wish to shine a light on artists, scientists and activists that are recognised in their homeland but under-appreciated abroad.
In my personal life, I learn cryptic crosswords, try my hand at beekeeping, and strive to read lots of books. I edit wikipedia only occasionally. If I make a mistake, please feel free to correct me.
My biggest gripe with Wikipedia is the standard of note-worthiness. I once had a page about a Ukrainian film be deleted because there was no English press surrounding it, despite it being screened in international film festivals.
