Kumar Iyer
Kumar Sabapathy Iyer (born 22 April 1977) is the current British Deputy High Commissioner to Mumbai and has been in the posting since 2013. Kumar is also the Director General - Economic Trade and Investment for Department of International Trade India.
Career
- 2010: Before coming to Mumbai, India Kumar was the Head of Financial Sector Interventions, HM Treasury and Deputy Director for Strategy, Planning and Budget at HM Treasury.
- 2008: Deputy Director, Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit
Kumar has also several years working at Boston Consulting Group mainly in the Financial Services Practice
