Rafel Corbi was brn in Palafrugell, Spain, July 30, 1966. Since his teenager years he was involved in radio, and he become professional in 1991. Before that, he started his own country music radio shows at RPEM-FM in Spain in 1987. In the nest years he also got a syndicated show with airplay in several countries as Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Poland and the USA. Corbi was awarded with three awards from The Country Music Associations of America (CMAA) as Best International Country Music Radio Show, Radio Personality of the Year and European Country Music Man of The Year in the 90's. He was the founder, along with the first president (Harry E. Fenton, UK) of the European Country Music Association, which is active since 1995. ECMA is well known in the country scene as it is the compiler for the weekly european country music radio charts, and the Country Radio Top-100, since 1995. Today, the ECMA reporter's are close to 150 stations throughout Europe. Rafel Corbi is also a dedicated line-dance instructor & choreographer, with dances being published in the "bible" of linedancers, "Linedancer UK".
