  Wikiwings
I hereby bestow upon RM Gillespie the honor of Wikiwings in recognition of his tireless efforts to provide the Wikipedia community an accurate, well-documented record of events concerning the difficult (and still politically sensitive) U.S. involvement in the war in Southeast Asia, especially Operation Rolling Thunder and the Linebacker campaigns.

Bob, at a gathering of Wikipedians in Washington, D.C. this night, you were described as the Wiki project's most active historian working on the Vietnam War. Congratulations on a job well done! Mark Sublette 05:00, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Mark SubletteMark Sublette 05:00, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

By the order of the coordinators of the Military history WikiProject, you are hereby awarded the WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves in recognition of your massive efforts to improve Wikipedia's coverage of the Vietnam War, and, in particular, your development of a substantial portion of the project's A-Class articles. • Note. If you find a particular article that you feel should be nominated as an FA on Wiki, please do not bother. It is a useless exercise in futility, believe me. Have gone through this process several times, and have done nothing but waste time (that was better spent in writing articles) trying to convince overworked knuckleheads (who do not have field expertise) as to why articles should not be bastardized to suit their tastes.
