Current Research
edit- Contacted owner of: http://www.ourtimeonline.com/newsletter/ot_nov01.htm To check any leads or bio input for Ormond Robbins. Pulsadinura (talk) 10:35, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Requested publication 50 Years of FAA History for independent verification of Ormond Robbins FAA service from FAA historian. Pulsadinura (talk) 10:35, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Very helpful response from FAA. Pulsadinura (talk) 23:15, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- 50 Years of FAA History is available online here: http://www.faa.gov/about/history/historical_perspective/.
- Ormond Robbins mentioned in Brian Fortier's 2004 book Cheechako on Wings (http://www.amazon.com/Cheechako-Wings-Brian-Fortier/dp/1412017270). I will buy this. The salient part seems to be in Google Books, however.
- The story behind Ormond Robbins' position as mayor of Kenai described in Redoubt Reporter (The Job No One Seemed to Want, http://redoubtreporter.wordpress.com/2009/05/06/1-in-a-million-shot-%E2%80%94-persistent-pacific-passenger-sews-up-free-ticket-stock/).
- Trying to determine if Ormond Robbins went to UW or if that is erroneous.
- Interpolating information from Wayne Robbins autobiographical article from DMM 2/40. Also locating "autobio" of Wyndham Brooks, in which he created a fanciful backstory for his pseudonym.

Stuff I might like to do later
edit- Flesh out Sheldon Jaffery page.
- Perhaps help out with Salem Witch trials. I have all surviving documentary evidence in Rosenthal's Records of the Salem Witch Hunt, plus quite a few historical treatments.
- Look at Popular Publications' titles. Seems to be spotty coverage.
