I have recently completed a PhD discussing some aspects of contemporary swing dance culture. As part of this study I have spent some time researching African American vernacular dance and contemporary swing dances, and continue to read, write and publish in this area.
I do most of my wikipedia work on the swing (dance) related pages:
African American dance
Big Apple (dance)
blues dance
Breakaway (dance)
Charleston (dance)
Connection (dance)
Frankie Manning
George Snowden
History of lindy hop
Hollywood-Style Lindy Hop
lead and follow (dance)
Lindy Exchange
lindy hop
Savoy-Style Lindy Hop
swing
Swing (dance)
Vernacular dance
Whitey's Lindy Hoppers
Yehoodi
I'm also a keen SF fan and have been (very slowly) working on the pages related to Marion Zimmer Bradley's Darkover books:
The Shattered Chain
is the only one I've done much work on so far.
I'd be happy to work on any SF pages if people want to enlist me. :)
I am only new here on wikipedia, so I make mistakes quite regularly, and am still learning how to do things like start new articles, move articles, etc etc etc. Please assume that any error in my editing is made out of ignorance rather than malice or pride. :)
