Who I am

I live in Los Angeles with my family consisting of a wife, two kids and a dog. I have a demographic research business with a partner and its called Phillips and Herman Demographic Research. I have a doctorate in Social Work and have engaged in that field in a variety of ways such as street gang work, community organizing, needs assessment research for over thirty years. I am excited about contributing to wikipedia

I have lived in Hungary, the U.S. and Israel and have travelled fairly extensively, visiting about 37 countries over the years. I am a regular bicycle rider, using it to commute almost daily and have bicycled in many different countries and think that the bicycle is one of the world's greatest inventions.
