Nokopsexuality is a sexual preference for distant and sexual relationships only. Emotional relationships are not put forward by the nokop community, it is still possible to have a nokopsexual relationship with someone who is very close emotionally and to categorize yourself as nokop. It can be practiced by anyone; gay, lesbian, transgender, pansexual, etc.

Nokopsexuality is composed of Nokop and sexuality including nokop which is composed of two unified and modified words, No and Couple. The c of the couple has then been changed to k.

Another option could be that the k comes from Dutch language or the word couple is written koppel.

Nokopsexuality is a sexual preference that began to be talked about during the 2020s. The word would come from more German-speaking or English-speaking areas of Europe.

Annual Traditions

Every year on September 17th a day for the pride of the nokop community is organized around the world. The goal with this NCPD (Nokop Community Pride Day) is to show that sex can itself be a way of loving yourself.
