Articles I'm working on

edit

I am actively editing the following articles:

I'm sure there will be more in this space as I continue updating Skrmetti's article.

I endeavor to be neutral as is required by Wikipedia policy. Sometimes this means I might make several minor edits after a major one to remove extraneous information that, while not biased or I wouldn't have posted it to the article, isn't what I would expect to see in an encyclopedia.

Peripheral to Skrmetti

edit

These articles are related to actions AG Skrmetti has taken since assuming office. While I initially am going into them to add information about his actions if needed, sometimes they may need more intensive work, and I will try to take the time to do that. If you have pertinent info, feel free to update these articles with receipts. If you're not able to edit a page without an account, put a note on the subject's talk page with your information so anyone who is able to edit it can do so. Ta.

Improved

edit

Project: articles about women with no citations. (debated putting this in "Other endeavors"; it's a bit of a cross)

edit
  • Pati Regency - I am endeavoring to turn what was a series of lists of non-encyclopedic information into an encyclopedic article. In the process, I am learning a good deal about this part of Indonesia.
  • Aftermath of the 2008 Mumbai attacks - desperately needs updated information. I added to the Impact on the United States and Impact on the United Kingdom sections as well as adding the Impact on sports section. But this is in dire need of updating and editing overall.
  • Hippodamia convergens - lifeforms will always need more information added as new discoveries are made about them.
  • Sominex - I'm learning more about how lackadasical the pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. have been historically with the health of their customers than I ever suspected. But this article needs more than the U.S., so it's going to take a bit, but I'll add info from as many countries as I can find.
  • On the Verge of a Fever - Brought the article up to the point where it passes WP:NFILM, but it could still use some improvement.
  • Pete Wade - This needs much more work. But it's a lot better than it was when I first saw it - all of two sentences with bare URLs and no details if the links went dead.

Other endeavors

edit

I'm also working on weeding through Category:CS1 errors: URL. Because it took me a while to figure out how to fix this error when I caused it on an article, and I sometimes need a break for a bit from looking at the bigger things I'm working on up there. ↑

I will always try to note when I've done an edit to fix a citation error. These will be marked as minor edits. (And if I notice other citation issues while I'm there, I'll try to fix those too.)

Done?

edit

These pages I've done all I think I can at the moment with. I will put the last date I edited it after the page name. If you have more information on the subject, please feel free to update the page with receipts.

  • Anaconda (retailer) (2023-07-22)
  • Animal Nightlife (2023-07-30) - I'd like to use pictures for this one, but I'm not too clear on the Fair Use policies. I'd especially like to use images of the albums (sleeves / liner notes or discs / records) that show the song listings for each album/single. Because I see there seems to be a question about using Discogs, but I'm not having much luck finding a better source for the data as far as just "this song was on this album/single/EP".
  • Anne B. Poyntz (2023-08-06) - I know there has to be more information out there, but this is all I've been able to dig up for the moment. I have found several print sources I will look into as soon as I have the time. Most of them focus on the publication method of using subscribers instead of patrons to undercut publishing costs at the time, so I'm not sure how biographical those resources will end up being.
  • The Devil on Trial (2024-03-31) - I would like to have more information on the production process from non-primary sources, as well as a non-IMDb source for the first two names in the cast list. But as I've scoured the Internet for hours, and I didn't find it (other websites that listed the two actors said "powered by IMDb" on them, so they're not new sources because of that). So this is one I definitely need to check up on.
  • Road to Redemption (2001 film) (2024-05-30)
  • Licensed to Kill (1997 film) (2024-06-20), though if I find sources to verify the various accolades listed on the film's homepage, I'll add those into the article. I need something besides just the official site, though.
  • The Year My Parents Went on Vacation (2024-08-30)

Danielle Steel film adaptations

edit

I've not actually ever read any of her work, but these pages had no or very few sources. They required improvement in order to remain in the encyclopedia.

More data needed

edit
  • Euthanasia Sherman Meade (2024-03-30) - On this one, all I really added to it was her full birth and death dates, her signature, and info on her being the first woman physician in San José, California. I did put an infobox in for summary ease when viewing the article at a glance, and corrected her birth place as well. Public records are wonderful things, and it was interesting seeing a passport application from the 1800s. I'd like to see more on this one, on her contributions to medicine because I'm sure there were given who she trained.
  • Mary Kate McGeehan (2024-06-01) - I added sources to this; it only had 2 when I started. But this needs a lot more work.
