In principio, I am a white male in his late twenties, and currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of English at the University of Arkansas. I am currently working to rehabilitate popular conceptions of a number of maligned concepts, like Marxism, utopianism and the literature of Medieval England, including drama and popular romance. I am sufficiently odd enough to think it would be awesome to be the Master of Jesus (thank you, Lynda Coon), although at the rate I'm going, I'm probably just going to end up being The Master.
I'm a utopian pacifist Pro-Labour scholar. My own heroes my parents, Grizz Hayhurst, Utah Phillips, Dick Feynman, and Robert A. Heinlein, as well as a rotating series of old Socialists and Anarchists.
I tend to lurk in the Medieval, Literary, and Historical sections of Wikipedia, though I will occasionally fix wonky prose and grammar.
