Grey ware is a type of pottery that when fired, results in fabric that is grey in colour.
Description
editGreyware has been defined by the Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) as "Earthenwares that have gone through a process of "controlled exclusion of oxygen from the kiln during the latter stage of firing, resulting in more or less uniform grey fabric of varying hue".[1]
