I have an interest in United States coinage. I authored a website at www.acoin.com (since transferred to new owners) on the topic. Anything you find on Wikipedia that you think came from there probably did, with my permission. I do not give Wikipedia rights to the images on that site, just the text.
I have many other interests and have contributed to many dozens of Wikipedia pages over the years.
I am currently working for the Center for Distracted Driving at the University of Utah. We are studying how various systems inside of cars may distract drivers from important tasks like not hitting other cars or pedestrians. I hope to put a lot of information about these systems on Wikipedia, though my most recent efforts were speedily deleted because they were allegedly marketing. I assure you that I do not see this information as marketing, but as data that can contribute to our life and death research. I'm very excited about autonomous vehicles as well, as they are less likely to be distracted.
Here is a list of my contributions to Wikipedia.
