Force Unleashed
editDear K1Bond007, Shouldn't you at least mention the possibility of a Wii release for this game? To my knowledge, it hasn't even officially been announced for the PS3 and 360- just "Next-Gen Systems".
Even though the footage may have been confirmed as coming from the PS3 and 360, it seems to me that reporting that it's coming out definitively for those two and not saying anything at all about a Wii version after the official "Next-Gen Systems" is a tad irresponsible. Especially if there's gonna be a PS2 version of the game.
I may have missed something somewhere, but I can't find any official word that it will be coming out for any systems other then the PS2, PSP and DS.
Thanks, -Matt —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Omdata (talk • contribs) 19:56, 15 February 2007 (UTC).

Hey there fellow Bond fan!! I hope you approve but I like articles to have plenty of images to support it so if I can combine some free natural images to identify settings, or vehicles in the films with far use screenshots I reckon we get a better picture for people who don't know the films. Yesterday i added a full missing synopsis to From Russia With Love (film) I hope its okay? Ernst Stavro Blofeld 12:30, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

- It's about time a Wikiproject came together regarding Bond. I'm not 100% in favor of everything planned (as my comments on the project's talk page indicate) but it's a step in the right direction. Incidentally that old chestnut about Never Say Never being called an unofficial film has erupted again (I think by the same guy who had issue with it last time). I've decided to push the issue by making resolving it an Open Task. 23skidoo 15:56, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Novel/Movie Differences
editI agree that Sean Connery is the best James Bond actor. Recently, you deleted one of my edits (The Man With the Golden Gun Novel). I added the section about how it was different from the movie. You said that it should go on the movie page. I agree, but recently, I tried something similiar on several other Bond movie pages, but I was then told to put it on the novels page so I was not sure whether this section should go on the novel or movie page. SPECTRE
editYou said that Blofeld was on his own in On Her Majesty's Secret Serivce and Diamonds Are Forever. I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on that one. SPECTRE existed until Blofeld died. Below is the explanation I placed on the SPECTRE discussion page.
- I think that SPECTRE existed from the time Bloefeld founded it until he died. Even though it may not have been as large in its final appearances, it still existed, even in minor forms. In the novel On Her Magesty's Secret Service, Bond refers to Bloefeld's organization as SPECTRE, even though it is not as large as it was in Thunderball. I also agree with the above statement about the movie, OHMSS, stating that SPECTRE still existed. Bond said that it operated world wide, which meant that he couldn't have been wrong about SPECTRE still existing. If it had collapsed, he would have known it. Since Bloefeld constantly revived SPECTRE until he died, it can be assumed that SPECTRE's existance continued until Bloefeld met his maker. Also, the Special Edition DVD box to OHMSS specifically stated that SPECTRE was the villianious organination in the movie.
Emperor001 21:33, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
SPECTRE did exist during On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Diamonds are Forever. I just watch the commentary on the Diamonds are Forever Ultimate Edition DVD and the director of the movie specifically said, "aside from the beginning sequence of For Your Eyes Only, Blofeld and SPECTRE appeared in six of the first seven Bond films." Note, he said "Blofeld and SPECTRE." Granted SPECTRE may not have been as big as it was in previous movies, it still existed just as it did in the novel for OHMSS, it just existed in a smaller form. Further evidence that it still existed is that the producers were going to make SPECTRE and Blofeld the villains in The Spy Who Loved Me, but legal action from Kevin McClory was the only thing that stopped them. In conclusion, SPECTRE existed at least until Diamonds are Forever, and maybe a little while after that, though not as big as before and I think that all James Bond related articles should reflect this. My current status
editI've been away from Wiki for the last few weeks and I've decided I'm probably going to stay away except perhaps for some "special request" editing that I have been asked to do by a few people. Aside from the fact that I realized life without Wiki is not only possible but I can actually get quite a bit done, I've run my course of tolerating people who treat me like an amateur or worse, an idiot, regarding certain matters (obviously this does not apply to you in any way, nor does it apply to 99% of the editors I deal with. But it only takes 1% to spoil everything. I've been made aware of a competing Wiki called Citizendium and I've been invited to start afresh and I might do that. But right now I'm simply too tied up with real world issues to devote so much time to a project that doesn't pay me and these days tends to leave me more frustrated than satisified. Obviously if you need support on an issue, please feel free to e-mail me and I'll help out, plus I might lurk here and there (either signed in or not) so I'm not necessarily disappearing completely. Cheers! 23skidoo 16:03, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
Video Games
editYou said that none of the video games are cannon. I believe that this statement is not true. The only time a video game is non-canonical is if the game contradicts what happens in the films. Since games like Agent Under Fire, Nightfire, and Everything or Nothing (which even had all of the actors from the main movie rolls: Brosnan as Bond, Dench as M, and Cleese as Q) do not contradict the films save the bonuses, they are canonical. Emperor001 21:32, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Canon
editThank you for responding to my comments. But, you said that by saying that games were canonical, so was Never Say Never Again. This is not true. Just so you know, I consider it canon if it does not contradict the movies. NSNA does contradict the EON movies because of characters and organizations that are dead. For example, I consider Everything or Nothing canonical because it doesn't contradict the films (you mentioned Jaws, he could have turned evil again; as I recall in the movies, he was mostly a hit-man for hire). In contrast, Goldeneye: Rouge Agent is not canonical because it obviously contradicts the movies. There are also, different canons. A novel canon, a movie canon "Dr. No to Die Another Day", and the new canon (Casino Royale to present). Just so you know, I am only trying to present my position. I am not arguing.
About SPECTRE, I think it still existed in OHMSS because if you look at the back of the special edition DVD box, it specifically mentioned SPECTRE as the villians.
Once again, just stating my beliefs and why. I'm new at working with other wikipedians, but isn't clearing things like this up a good thing for the articles' sake. For example, with SPECTRE, we have to be consistent about when we say it ended. I think we should say that it ended with Blofeld's death due to the fact that he constantly reformed his organinzation (though not always as extensive as before). Emperor001 16:43, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- What about Everything or Nothing. That game was designed to somewhat act as a sequel to A View to a Kill. The main villian in the game was the apprentice of Max Zorin, the villiam from A View to a Kill. Also, what about the other standard characters? They're even voiced by the current actors. You once mentioned that Jaws turned good. How do you know that he stayed good? Something may have pushed him back into being a villian's hit-man. He only turned good because of his new girlfriend. Take away her, and he would probably turn evil again. Emperor001 00:40, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Gotcha. I just thought that it would be canonical since EON had to approve of it to use the characters thus making the game legitimate canon. Sorry about the frequent messages, I'm just used to arguing points until I am completely proven wrong. Emperor001 20:46, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Possible nomination for adminship
editI noted one of our trusted colleagues, User:Ernst Stavro Blofeld, has been told that he would be a good candidate for adminship. I tend to agree. I was wondering whether you, an admin, would be interested in perhaps sponsoring this person for RfA. If you would care to review his record, please do so and make your decision then. In any event, I think you know better than I do what is required of an admin, and would be a much better person to nominate him if he were to choose to do so. It is possible that he may decline, of course. I know firsthand that delusional homicidal megalomaniacs tend to be easily distracted, and am not honestly sure if the above party would be interested in seeking adminship. Anyway, I would welcome your review of the situation. Thanks. John Carter 19:25, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

The film is increasingly viewed as an epic, comic, satire of the whole James Bond genre.

Preity Zinta FA
editHi there. The Preity Zinta article has recently achieved A-class status. Due to the wealth of support I have decided to now nominate for an FA class article which I believe and judging by the comments of others is pretty much up to. In my view it is better than some existing FA actor articles. I would therefore be very grateful if you could give it a final review in your own time and leave your comments and views at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Preity Zinta. Thankyou, your comments are always valuable. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 10:57, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of List of locations in the Star Fox series
editI have nominated List of locations in the Star Fox series, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of locations in the Star Fox series. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
