The Kansas City Goats are a professional indoor football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. They are currently members of The Arena League (TAL). They will play their home games at Municipal Arena.
History
editOn June 14, 2023, Kansas City was announced as the fourth city of The Arena League alongside the announcement of the Ozarks Lunkers, Springfield, Missouri's team.[1]
Team logo and name
editOn July 17, 2023, the team name and logos were announced.[2]
Some other names suggested included the Potholes, Kings, and Ribs.[3]
Management
editOn July 17, 2023 the ownership team of former Kansas City Chiefs running back Christian Okoye, Gates BBQ COO George Gates, and sports-radio personality Steven St. John.[3]
