"What's the difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense."– Tom Clancy
"Always keep an eye on the fiction, because there if infinitely more fiction than truth, and you never know when one will turn into the other."– Christopher J Foster
Born Canadian, I’m interested in a wide variety of subjects and topics, and have been a user of Wikipedia since the summer of 2004, and officially joined on 22:59, August 142005. See here for a breakdown of my edit habits. Can be found going to and fro all over the GTA.
I also have a tendency to wander into the wilderness for extended periods of time, and thus may not have access to the net at that time, so I may take more than a day or two to respond to something.
I believe that Wikipedia is meant as a preservation of information, like any good encyclopedia, and I'm glad it's not made of paper, on a few levels. I can also become overly fascinated with the various faucets of information on the site.
Usually I do format edits, ie fixing/creating headers, tables, columns, and the like, but I also do lots of small edits here and there, which makes me something of a WikiGnome. I also have a tendency to be bold and make large edits, but not that often. If I make any spelling mistakes, I apologize. I usually run my bigger edits through Word first to try and catch any I make.
Oh, and a warning. The quickest thing you can do to piss me off is whitewash, remove info instead of fixing it, and not sourcing info. So if I've pissed you off, it probably because you did one of the above.
