re:I voted 4 you(support)
editJust because you voted for me doesn't meam I'm going to vote for you, I'll treat you no different than any other RFA, pretty much I look at your contribs, your talk page, and your interactions with other users, I also will probably not vote for you if you have a RFC or RFA active against you and will most likely not even cast a vote if I haven't had much interaction with you. Jtkiefer T | @ | C ----- 06:10, August 27, 2005 (UTC)
- needless to say I'd suggest letting a bit of time pass and that you accrue at least 1500-2000 edits before even trying otherwise you won't have much of a chance. Jtkiefer T | @ | C ----- 06:11, August 27, 2005 (UTC)
- It would appear that your change of heart over your support of Jtkiefer is based on whether or not he would support your candidacy for adminship; I consider this highly unethical, and I would suggest you remove your votes from his RfA entirely. Regardless, you currently have two votes on his RfA, one supporting and one neutral; I would suggest that you remove them both, but if you choose to leave one up I'm going to put up an explanatory note linking to your discussion with Jtkiefer over this matter. Fernando Rizo T/C 14:08, 27 August 2005 (UTC)
- You've removed them both; fair enough. Matter's closed as far as I'm concerned. Fernando Rizo T/C 19:38, 27 August 2005 (UTC)
Good G-Unit and G-Unot articles
editI believe you
The good, the bad, the ugly. That what I think about these Wiki nuts who go deleting information. It's a shock to see that many of the Wikis are going through a mid-life crisis deleting articles. Surely, A person of good nature will expect this insanity. Yeah, we know this? I am surely experiencing the same shock!
The G-Unit trife. I saw most of the VMAs and believe me I didn't expect 50 to confirm that Mase was officially a part of the label. And then, Suge Knight getting shot. Then The Game and 50 Cent didn't win any award. But what would happen if they did? They would have to come onstage together and after all the feuding between them, yeah! I think VMAs were playing it cool by letting Ludacris take the VMA home finally. All he needed was a Grammy. Don't worry Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Styles and The Game either kept their distance from 50. Of course, the joke. The joke (about security) was kind of a low blow and only proving that a feud between Fat Joe and 50 Cent is ongoing. Fat Joe may never present an award on MTV after that. If 50 Cent retaliated you would see it happen on mixtape. On a positive note, G-Unit has been getting more stronger. After signing newcomers such as Olivia, Mobb Deep, M.O.P. and Mase, 50 Cent decided to make them in the image he felt they should be. I guess 50 Cent got a case of rappers adopting failures syndrome. Good for them! But I rather liked it better when it was just Yayo, Buck, Banks, Game and 50. But as 50 stated, G-Unit is not just a group, it's a label. Say what!? Green Day. The American Idiots took the most home. Missy holding Ciara's hand, on some of that lesbo-action? Wow the world didn't expect Lil' Kim making a decent appearance. Shocking. Kanye West and R. Kelly making good being drama kings. Jamie Foxx already has an Oscar, now he wants an Grammy. VMAs were too much hip-hop, little different from last year's. But a Diddy party is MTV. Sure enough Diddy danced and Omarion and I guess Mase was looking like a fish out of a shell. And that announcer getting Jeezy name wrong. Lil' Jeezy! I give this VMA a 8 out of 10. Because Suge Knight wasn't shaking things up! Next The Latin Awards and The Source Awards. LILVOKA 29 August 2005 13:33 (UTC)
Hollywood
editYo---I took out Hollywood from "Important cities and towns" in California because Hollywood is neither a city nor a town. If you look at any decent map of L.A., one that shows city borders, it'll show that Hollywood is just a neighborhood in the City of Los Angeles, as the Hollywood article already explains. But since I agree that Hollywood should be mentioned prominently on the California page, I have put a picture of the Hollywood sign in the Economy of California section (and corresponding article) with a link to Hollywood in the caption. If you have any issues with this, raise it on the California talk page. --Coolcaesar 18:00, 30 August 2005 (UTC)
- No. You still don't get the point. The reason the picture cannot stay in that gallery box has nothing to do with the fact that the sign sits outside of the neighborhood of Hollywood or the city of L.A. The issue is about your understanding of the neighborhood of Hollywood, and not the sign that represents it.
- The caption says "Important cities or towns." In California, cities and towns are municipal corporations, like the City of Los Angeles or the Town of Los Altos Hills.
- Only young children use the word "city" to refer to any developed area regardless of its legal status. Hollywood is not a city in the strict legal sense used by adults. It is not recognized as a city by the City of Los Angeles, the State of California, or the Federal government of the United States.
- Indeed, Hollywood is neither a city nor a town. It is a neighborhood that is a part of a city, the City of Los Angeles, which is already illustrated in the gallery box by a picture of its skyline.
- Therefore, as a matter of logic, Hollywood cannot stay on a list of "Important cities or towns," since it does not fall into either category. It lacks the basics of a city or a town: a mayor, city council, city charter, and city government. It does possess a neighborhood council, though. It is merely a neighborhood within the boundaries of the municipal corporation known as the City of Los Angeles. I hope this is clear enough. --Coolcaesar 02:17, 2 September 2005 (UTC)

IfD question
editKing, I responded to your question on my talk page. Fernando Rizo T/C 23:46, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
Photo use
editImda, I am having difficulty adding tags at the moment -- the copyright info is complete, and I have tried to add Web site info. Can you provide some help please. paul klenk 02:47, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
To greg and imdaking
editWe are talking past each other. At the moment, what is missing where? What I have is what you see. paul klenk 03:06, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
- So, you must not see anything... The Images you uploaded have no source info.(where you got it from). All you have is a dicription of the page.
- please list the specific images requiring attention, and list specifically what is missage. "The images" is confusing. I place the Web site info, www.halloween-nyc.com, the owner Jeanne Fleming, a description of the photo subject, and the GFDL tag. Besides that, what else is missing, specifically? paul klenk 03:14, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
Now, one page at a time (I have explained some items at greg's page -- please see it:
- Halloween: It seems one item from that page is on your list. What info about that photo, the dino, is missing? Also, other photos besides this have been removed from the page. Why, and what info about them is missing? "Source" is not helpful, as I have tried to add the Web site. paul klenk 03:33, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
Please check Halloween page
editLet's focus this page for a moment. RE: the previous state, before image removal, is there anything image removed from this page that is missing info? paul klenk 03:41, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
- Are you there? I'm going to bed. If you have removed anything from the Halloween page that has complete info, perhaps you could help out and put it back? Thanks. paul klenk 03:51, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
- Never mind -- I'd rather do the changes myself. I'm going back to check all original imags, and if they have 1] name of owner, 2] address of Web site, 3] a description and 4] a tag, I am placing it back. No additional requirements have been requested, and by my record, I've made several attempts to ask what they might be. paul klenk 03:54, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
- Shuffle.jpg, Twopaperfaces.jpg, Nycbuginvasion.jpg, and Fixingdino.jpg all have the four items above. Before I revert, is anything missing? If so please describe exactly what -- again, "source" doesn't tell me much since I added their authors and pages. paul klenk 03:59, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
As far as I can tell, the only photo on the Halloween page that is tagged as being listed on images for deletion is Fixingdino. Per the tag, I have listed on its talk page all the information about the image, arguing that it not be deleted. I am now reverting the page again to its previous state, as every photo on it has 1] name of owner, 2] address of Web site, 3] a description and 4] a GFDL license tag, and, when known, 5] the photographer. These photos are copyright of the parade, and its director, Jeanne Fleming, has granted carte blanche GFDL licensing for the photos.
In the interest of efficiency, cooperation, and the spirit of Wikipedia, please refrain from removing the images from the page until addressing a comment to me specifying exactly what necessary or required information is missing. paul klenk 11:10, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
GFDL tag incompatible with "ifd" tag
editAfter several failed attempts to add the required GFDL tag to the dino photo, in such a way that it would actually appear on the image page along with the ifd tag, I performed the following test:
- temporarily removed ifd tag, with explanation that it was a temporary test.
- added GFDL tag. It worked -- the tag displayed on the page.
- re-added the ifd tag, per tag instructions to "keep it on the page".
- THEN, re-uploaded a new dino image, with a new name, with complete copyright and license information, so the article does not appear to violate image policies.
- REVERTED the article to its state before the images were removed
- You should now be able to view GFDL license information, as well as thorough information concerning its owner, source, photo credit, description, and license information, on the image page and its talk page.
So what we've learned is this; When an image is marked "ifd", a tag which MUST be kept and not removed, it is impossible to add the GFDL tag in such a way that it displays on the page. This seems a bit strange.
Without the measures I took above, it would have been impossible to include the article on the page while providing information, as I was instructed to on the "ifd" tag.
If you are confused about this, please leave a message on my talk page.
I have added a talk page to the original dino photo image and the new one, and have marked it "to watch this page." I suggest we carry on any lengthy further discussions on one of those pages, in the interest of keeping your talk page free of chatter, and to make it easier to follow the measures being taken to document the image.
Again, let me suggest that offering help would take care of any actual problems, keep the process efficient, and keep all efforts in the spirit of Wikipedia. paul klenk 11:54, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
- With due respect, I have no particular interest in whether you "think it's okay." I am concerned only with following Wikipedia's stated policy; and with the technical and educational challenges I am encountering to provide the documentation required by the policy. Any help you can provide to address either of these concerns would be appreciated, of course, as it might save everyone time.
- Regarding the other photos on the list, I believe I have already provided details about their use and the status of my efforts to secure their licensing. If you wish to see them but don't find them on your page, you might at Greg's. The images of the CD album cover and the magazine cover are of least impending concern, in my opinion (although getting the tags right would be a good thing). paul klenk 18:34, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
- I don't know what this means: "but I rather careless about these "policies", it would make it less stressful. Regarding "Either way, you asked for help so I'm doing the best I can", what can you do that addresses the above two goals? paul klenk 19:49, 8 September 2005 (UTC)

But, I will tell you again. Do not delete comments from your talk page(s). It is considered vandalism. You have done this several times. You are getting the three warnings because you continually delete comments off your talk pages, and you should've gotten these before. Do not delete any comment from any of your talk pages. Private message to Imdaking
editImdaking, I have prepared a rather harsh letter for this page, but on reflection, I thought it would be better not to embarrass you by placing it here. I would rather let you read it privately. If this is agreeable, you can send me a private e-mail using the "E-mail this user" feature. I will then make the letter available to you.
If you want to do this, you must agree to 1] keep the letter and its contents completely private, 2] stop escalating your accusations and denials, and 3] not try to use my letter against me or complain about it in any way. I have warned you that it is harsh, but I believe it is fair. By sending me the private e-mail, you will be agreeing to the above terms.
If I don't receive your private e-mail within 12 hours, I will place the letter on this page. paul klenk 01:27, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
Please remove your notice forbidding criticism on this page
editPlease remove the notice directing users to a special "Complaints talk" page. How can they post there, when it's been locked from editing? (I locked it, because you were using it for abuse.) Plus, people are entitled to post warnings etc. on this page. That's one of the things it's for. Please don't delete any warnings. Better: please don't upload or post any more copyvios, and people won't even need to post any warnings, on any of your pages. Please try to work with the community, not against it. Thank you. Bishonen | talk 20:27, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you! Bishonen | talk 22:24, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, Imdaking. Yes, I'd like to delete the complaints page. Is that OK with you? I would first copypaste its copyvio warnings and image deletion notices here, as those may be valuable information. If you like, you can use those warnings for finding and removing text or images with dubious copyright that you've posted, and then delete the warnings. If you want to remove a questionable image that you uploaded, you don't have to wait for any vote on Wikipedia: Images for deletion, you can just ask an admin to delete it. Me, for instance. Shady Dealings with Aftermath Ties on top of Black Wall Ghost Unit
editHere the few names 50 Cent, G-Unit and The Game describe one another:
- Mr. Potato Head (or at least Game Over, Popeye or Mr. Tounge Ring), Fiddy Sense (or at least Bluto or Boo-Boo), G-Unot, Oliver (or at least Olive Oyl), Tony Hayo, Homo Banks, and Young Slut. I think you know what they names are!
If one told someone, don't pick a fight with one of the sickest out there. The Game is lyrically talented. This beef with G-Unit and The Game is putting the choke hold on future projects coming from Busta Rhymes, Stat Quo, and even members of both respectable camps. This is a long standing with 50 Cent and Game. Look at this like boxing and wrestling. Of course, I take no sides in the beef other than knowing when the bell is ringing and the players are in the ring. 50 Cent had the first assault thrown at Game (the Hot 97 issue). It took a minute to get Game back up but it seems like Game had at least knock down 50 for the second round (300 Bars) and it seems like 50 is regrouping and trying to at least tap Game after the damaging blow to the chest. Yeah a hot summer and a stellar fall. LILVOKA

Big Fase is true!
editThe Black Wall Street does use the internet. If you are the one who put this on the website, it would be in the best of interest to remove the picture and revert all edits in to the (most unbiased) article. I am not sure on if it's a prank or the real thing. But I had email Big Fase 100 and The Game before about release of The Documentary. And usually they respond. So if this is true, I'd change it or they may find whoever used the picture and trace the Internet protocal to trace the person(s) involved. But take every copyright violation seriously, it would land someone in a hefty lawsuit or possible jail time. Thanks for the word and keep making good articles. LIL VOKA
RUMOR MILL
editThe Game and 50 Cent are about to once again wave the flag and end the pointless beef. A website described that The Game was tired of raining on 50 Cent's parade, all he'd wanted to do was make good music. This does not paint the situation if they'll ever work together again, but it's a small step in the ever long saga with the two rap titans [1]. We'll see if the situation between 50 Cent and The Game will end. I doubt it. But yes The Game won the lyrical battle against 50. But in the end, 50 Cent wins, because he owns all of G-Unit's (including The Game and others) publishing. So take a look at what happens, we'll see if 50 Cent may eventaully come forth and end this again. (Note: I don't want much, but for the two egos to settle down and appreciate the fans who supported they'll whining ass in the first place). LIL VOKA

Have you ever wonder why Lil' Kim ever got five mics in The Source
editIn the article posting of The Source I wrote that critically acclaimed group Little Brother was slated to dawn the five mics for their album The Minstrel Show in the magazine. But I guess, backpack rappers as ZNO see it doesn't need to dawn the high praise. I guess they gave Lil' Kim's The Naked Truth the five mic. Yeah, kinda fishy for a rapper like herself who went gold with the last album, who didn't even get support of 50 Cent, the one rapper she needed to give her a number one hit (ala Magic Stick)! Now she comes out with this album which comes a few months before she goes to prison to serve her 1-year and 2 days sentence. Here's the answer and rumor going around, Lil' Kim's manager Hillary Swanson is currently dating the CEO and founder of Dave Mays. You ever wonder that a favor for a favor is something that Benzino and Dave Mays do for rappers to appear in The Source. Well, well, well! I guess Little Brother who gets 10 stars and XXL ratings from Vibe and XXL is not acceptable for The Source, so they decide to put them in the back while Lil' Kim gets the praise. Even thinking about Lil' Kim getting five mics in The Source (right after the collobration with Benzino on his awful song "Rock The Party"), she is the first woman to get the highest rating! When will Lauryn Hill, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte and Foxy Brown get theirs? I mean 17 years in the business and they finally give a female rapper (who by no means deserve) the five mics. Sure she should get five mics for looking decent at The MTV Awards, but in rapping she really comes up short. LILVOKA.

editHi, I saw that you had had some interaction with this user. I would like to ask you not to be so confrontational, especially against newbies. I realise that sometimes these things get frustrating (especially people who remove your speedy-taggings), but there really is no excuse for making a personal attack like you did on his talkpage. It creates a bad atmosphere, and now he as gone on to complain at Wikipedia:General complaints. Take time to explain your actions on his talkpage instead, it generates so much more good will. He is a newbie after all, and he does not know how wikipedia works.
Please review WP:NPA and Wikipedia:Please do not bite the newcomers. gkhan 21:05, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
- He's a newbie. He isn't clear on the policies, I'm postive he was acting in good faith. And even if he were acting in bad faith that is no excuse for making a personal attack. We regular users must show them how it's done! There is no two ways about it, you were wrong in this instance. Please refrain from making such comments again. gkhan 21:50, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
- Also, I was just in contact with a few other users (who shall remain nameless) who are not happy with you at all. If you continue making personal attacks and biting newcomers, they will start an rfc against you. I stopped them for now, but you cannot continue like this. How about you stay away from RC and Newpages patrol for a while? Edit with some wikiproject you like or something. None of us wishes to see this get any uglier. gkhan 21:59, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
Use the Sandbox?
editWhat the heck are you telling me to use the Sandbox for? Or do you tell everyone to, even those who have been on Wikipedia for about a year? I added the article Backbase to start it off again, since there were so many deletes. I added it as a stub. I don't see why y you consider that testing, and I don't see why you added the 'insufficient context' template there, either. The least you could do is add a stub to it, if you really wanted to. But insufficient context?
