Greetings! I'm Gordo. I have a general interest in a wide array of subjects, and believe that finding joy in the mundane is a learnable skill; one which can increase ones appreciation for the world around them, natural or manufactured. Rocket ships are super cool, and so are dinosaurs, of course, but so are accelerometers, or hinges, or threaded fasteners. There are infinite details to discern if you choose to be interested.

I do have some lifelong areas of focus though, some of which are computers, computer science & history, music of all kinds, graphic design, and just a general interest in the nature of things (I guess you'd call that science).

If I were born a little later, I might have spent more of my youth editing Wikipedia, but I was obsessed with expanding my music library, and learning to program, so I spent more time reading than contributing. Now I'm adulting—trying my best, at least—and the days feel ever shorter, and my task list ever more daunting, so I help in what small way I can; mostly fixing small grammatical errors, or the occasional fact check. But like someone smarter than me—or at least a whole lot older—once said, "if you take care of your pennies, the pounds will take care of themselves" (don't overthink the quote; it'll lose its magic 🤣).
