Question: Gmflash- WTF is that?
Answer: Gmflash, Grandmaster Flash - one of the pioneers of the hip hop movement, the bronx all dat YEH, the original Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five - The Message, - a classic, a piece with a true, meaningful message, and STILL applies so much to the world we live in today as it did in the 80s. As you can see if your into old school hip hop, so am I, haha. Was Nas right? Is hip hop really dead? Its debatable, all i know is that the so called "hip hop" of nowadays, aint hip hop, its hip-POP, as in popular music, not hip hop. So many have lost the cause of what hip hop had originally intended.
Question: Why did you become an editor of wikipedia?
Answer: Cos what i was reading was absolute trash. It all started when i was reading the arab slave trade article, an article which i have had many debates in and have contributed to - in terms of neutrality. I couldnt believe that this is the year 2000 and 6/7 and there is still such narrowmindedness and bias, and injustice occurring in an online encyclopedia read by millions and trusted by millions, especially in the west. For me, it was especially hurtful, because i am from a middle-eastern background, and to read what some ppl were saying, and writing, well i could see that they had an agenda and were determined (and still are) to impose their versions of history, their lies, their propaganda on an article which they knew nothing about, and only used to push an agenda. Hopefully, the open-minded ppl who come across these trash articles (theres a lot of them, im sure we can all find one) will research and come to their senses, and see that what they read is simply crook and lies, and distorted history. But some, especially the young, are easily influenced by the slander and hate that some ppl spread on here, and this is what is truly tragic and dangerous about this wikipedia.
A WARNING: Wikipedia, while great for gathering a pool of knowledge or viewpoints on an issue, is still , to me, untrustable. It also seems very dangerous, that ppl can edit an article, and start spreading hate subliminally, this is how they play it. This is their tricks. Im sorry to the guys up top, but this system is flawed. All i can say to anyone reading any article on wikipedia is BEWARE. Not all you read is true, sourced, accurate, written without an agenda or even mildly neutral in some cases. Unfortunately, it seems increasing apparent that in this world, (and certainly referring to wikipedia as well) - the truth doesnt always prevail. I can only hope that more just editors will join wikipedia, to add some balance to these articles. Please, if you see an article that seems unjust to you, dont ignore it, log in, sign up, or watever, but add to the balance please.
