The International Brotherhood of Live Steamers (IBLS) is a non-profit organization which promotes the hobby of live steam model railroading. It was founded in the United States in 1932 by Charles A. Purinton at the urging of "Curly" Lawrence. The organization is directed by regional secretaries for North America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and South Africa.[1]
