I'm a veteran Information Technologist with a wide range of professional and managerial experience in mainframe, distributed, and personal computing technology. I currently reside on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
I receive a pension from Computer Sciences Corporation, a global Information Technology outsourcing company. I receive no other compensation from computer-related manufacturing or service organizations.
I support the Open-source software licensing model for software development and distribution. The low-cost / no-cost availability of independently developed software provides an important alternative to the proprietary software that dominates most product niches today.
