My mother-tongue is Plautdietsch, however, although the sounds of spoken Dietsch still roll off my tongue more readily than do the sounds of Canadian English, I now know English a good deal better than I know my mother-tongue. Since Wikipedia:Babel currently has no language-code for Dietsch I'm using nds. The hopefully soon-to-be-approved ISO/FDIS-639-3 will recognize Plautdietsch as a language and give it the code pdt, so I may soon try to get it added to Wikipedia.
