E-Dostluk

E-Dostluk (in Turkmen, Online Friendship) is a social network service for Turkmens and Turkmen language speakers. E-Dostluk was founded in 27 march, 2012 by Ihlas Sovbetov Nobatovich ^[2] under the name TmUnit. But afterwards TmUnit Group was closed, and E-Dostluk Group was named as an owner of group.^[3]

Service

The site has almost all similar features of other social services, the only difference is E-Dostluk provides its service only in Turkmen language by aiming to gather all Turkmen language speakers in one community^[4]. Basically, in E-Dostluk platform, registered users can easily share/upload photos, videos, musics; write blogs, forum threads; create listings for marketplace, events, pages, polls, quizzes, as well as they can send free sms to the mobile operators over the world. As well as, it provides chating and multiplayer online games through Cometchat system to the registered users. Beside these features, in the website there is an activity point system (Oçko) that can be earned by sharing video, photo, and etc. Also, in it there is credit system (Manat Hasaby), which represents users' credits in the website. Users can transfer there activity points (oçko) to their credit systems (Manat Hasaby). As well as, they can buy credit packages online with PayPal accounts or credit cards. The gifts in the gift shop in website, are not free, they can be bought only with credits. Therefore, it works interactively with credit system. The site is based on phpfox script formation, and for easy usage there is a FAQ system in it, what helps new users how to use the features.

Mobile Internet

E-Dostluk Turkmen Platform also provides mobile version^[5] of the service. But some features are restricted in mobile version such as credit system, announcements, free sms, and etc. However, the site administrators reported that, there will continue their improvement operation on mobile version.^[6]

Terms and Policy

According to the terms of the site, it is not allowed to register to users who are under 13 years old. Also, it states that as all information (true/untrue) that were provided by users, cannot be investigated, E-Dostluk will not be resposible due to its future results. Moreover, E-Dostluk, advices to use only PayPal for transaction in the website.^[7]

On other hand, according to policy of the site, it decleares that they will not shoulder the responsibility of any copyright issues of users' shares. If anyone claims the copyright, they should ask directly to the user who infringed it. Similarly, if the user is owner of the copyright, then they can easily set the privacy to their own share posts to defend their rights.^[8].
