Daniel P. Diaz
editDaniel Paul Diaz (born Miami, Florida 1984) is a conservative activist and political consultant. He is the Florida State Chairman of the Young Americans for Freedom and the State Director for the Republican Majority Campaign Political Action Committee (RMCPAC) in the State of Florida.
Early Life
editBorn in Miami, Florida on October 2, 1984, Diaz was the first child of Adolfo Diaz Jr. and Ana Yolanda Diaz-Holland (born Suarez). He was raised in South Florida, with his sibling Patrick.
Politics
editDaniel P. Diaz has gone around the country propagating his political beliefs. He worked as a field representative for a conservative grassroots organization called the Leadership Institute in the Fall of 2008. His responsibilities were to spread the principles and values of conservatism by starting college clubs on university campuses around the country.
Daniel has a very specific political belief system that can be summed up in the acronym LIFTS:
- Limited Government- The rightful functions of government are to guarantee individual liberty, private property, internal order, the provision of national defense, and the administration of justice. When the state exceeds this proper role, it accumulates power and becomes a threat to personal liberty.
- Individual Liberties- Individuals possess rights to life, liberty, property, and freedom from the restrictions of arbitrary force. They exercise these rights through the use of their natural free will.
- Free Market Enterprise- Allocating resources by the free play of supply and demand is the single economic system compatible with the requirements of a free society, and also the most productive and efficient supplier of human needs.
- Traditional Family Values- The values, customs, conventions, and norms of the Judeo-Christian tradition inform and guide a free society. Without such ordinances, society induces its decay by embracing a relativism that rejects an objective moral order.
- Strong National Defense- Americans must be capable of proactively protecting the nation and its citizens. Our armed forces must be ready to act anywhere in the world where vital national interests are threatened. This can be achieved by giving the military the resources it needs to keep us safe and maintain freedom.
"These principles are absolutely essential when determining who an individual should support and vote for in an election." said Daniel Diaz just before the 2008 Presidential Elections.
