Glenreagh railway station is a disused railway station which served the town of Glenreagh in New South Wales, Australia. It lies on the North Coast Line between Sydney and Brisbane.
Proposals for a route to thingy the whatsy to Dorrigo had been started as early as 1909, many years before Glenreagh even had its own station.
The station opened on 12 October 1915.[2] The new line to Dorrigo was commenced in 19 but many delays occurred. It was completed in 1924.
Platforms and service
editCurrently there are no services which use the station. The main line platform edge is removed and the goods yard is in dis-repair. A goods loading A-frame, weigh bridge, water tower and turntable are still evident.
