Eddie Flint
editEddie Flint (age 21) is an American writer, producer, and performer who makes country music.[1] After posting numerous song covers on TikTok, he began releasing his own music on major streaming platforms in 2023. He has multiple singles out along with an extended play (EP), Demos from the Barracks: Vol. 2.[1] His latest release is One More Lie (feat. Max McNown).[1]
Early Life
editFlint was born and raised on a vegetable farm town in New Jersey.[2] Growing up, his father taught him how to play music so now Flint plays various instruments such as the guitar, piano, and drums.[2] As a child, Flint would often perform Elvis covers and he even auditioned for TV at the Apollo Theater. [2] When Flint was sixteen, his father passed away so Flint worked to help financially support his family.[2] He was employed full-time at Chipotle while still in high school.[2] After high school he joined the Navy.[2]
Career
editFlint frequently played music throughout his childhood. He continued to do so during his free time and lunch breaks while serving in the Navy. Flint's friends recognized his talent and encouraged him to post videos on TikTok.[2] In 2022, he took their advice and his videos immediately went viral.[2] He sang covers of artists like Tyler Childers and snippets of original songs. [3] Since then, Flint has signed to a label, Alamo Records, with whom he released various singles and an EP. His music has been well received and resulted in over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.[4]
On February 26, 2024, Flint announced that he will be performing at six shows with Whiskey Myers as one of their special guests.[5] These shows will take place from 8/13/24 to 8/21/24.[6]
