editThings and stuff
editHi CP!
I got your email and your talk page message. I've been a bit busy in real life in the last few days (although I got some good news and so I don't mind being busy!). Thanks for adopting my thoughts as an FAQ for Esperanza. I hope they help! I'll consider reappearing after the elections. Hope you enjoy your break and that it is as sustainable as possible! ➨ ЯEDVERS 20:42, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Popping by
editHey CP - I see you have recently returned too! I hope you had a nice and relaxing and warm vacation in wherever it was that you went - Spain? I don't remember, but I do remember that it sounded lovely.
By the by, what happened to your Tirben userbox? I always found that quite amusing. -- Natalya 12:58, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Whoa, a private pool and a grand piano? What a lovely combination - it sounds like a fantastic place! Very relaxing, to say the least.
- We spent a couple days in Edinburgh, and then about a week in London. It was a good time, they are two of my favorite cities. :) Unfortunately we didn't stray far from either city, but I will certainly remember next time I am there. I find that England is so beautiful, especially the countryside - from the pictures, Stroud looks gorgeous! -- Natalya 03:04, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Reporting a user
editHello Celestian Power!
Sorry for bothering you. Could you please explain to me how to report a user for persistently violating wiki rules?
Thanks alot
--Burgas00 12:43, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
According to the peer review, we will need to add round about 30 references to this article, and we will need help from as many Wikipedians as possible, cheers Minun (talk) 19:29, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- Now I understand that Wikipedians must be working the brains out, I hope my editing helps and it eventually reaches FAC status, cheers Minun (talk) 19:50, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Protection of Apartheid (disambiguation)
editHey Celestianpower, I have a favor to ask - would you mind protecting Apartheid (disambiguation)? It was protected for a while a bit ago while discussions went on, and while it was unprotected for a bit and did okay, it's now back into a revert war, and I think it is prudent for discussions to continue and a decision to be made without continuous reverting. I would, but I'm currently involved in discussions about it, and there's the issue of conflicting interests at all. Thanks, (hopefully you're actually in). -- Natalya 23:12, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
New User
editI was checking the new user logs and I noticed that there was a brand new user, created minutes ago, that had a full user page, with a complicated layout, that seems nearly impossible for a new user to create. The page is [1]. I am not sure whether to be suspicious or not, so I checked with a more experienced user. Tell me whether or not to be suspicious. If you check the new user logs, this person just created an account. Political Mind 16:38, November 3, 2024 (UTC).
I noticed your comment on the Charizard FAC page. I have added the references now, so please consider either supporting it, or giving another reason why iot should be changed, cheers Minun (マイナン) 15:30, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi
editWow, it seems like such a long time since we have actually corresponded. Howz it going? Orane (talk • cont.) 05:04, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well everything is going great for me. I went on a short wikibreak due to exams and a few personal struggles (nothing serious), but everything's o.k now. I know that you'll do fine in your exams, so I hope that you aren't worried. Bowling, huh? Would you believe that I've never done that before :P ? Hope you enjoy it. See you around. editRe: Feel better
editHi there, thanks for the well-wishes and for the grapes. That reminds me, I haven't eaten grapes in a while. Again, thanks.--Tachikoma 23:19, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Hopefully this will raise a smile
editIt took long enough. Congrats, ;) Highway Batman! 17:17, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

That's exciting!! Wasn't there some problem with it before about it not being allowed to be the mainpage featured article? Fantastic! -- Natalya 13:31, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Hallo from Oakwood
editCiao Celestianpower, I am sorry for this weeeery late answer to your message in my talk page: almost one year.. :-)
The thing is that I use wikipedia not so frequently, and only now I read it!
At that time i tryed to write something, I think I wrote a "stub" (is it the right word?).
In this period I am studing a lot of things on wikip., but I don't feel like I can say anything useful about the things I am now working on.
I made some minor edits (I added a link, and slightly changed a notation).
I appreciated your encouraging message.
I am a physicist, and now I am studing things like the Bell inequality, and Quantum Information Theory in general.
In any case, I THINK WIKIPEDIA IS GRRREEEEAT!!
I love the idea of cooperatively building a "knowledgebase". I think in some aspects is mouch more reliable than a book fron a single outhor, becouse in this collaborative way, there is mouch more "control" about mistakes, and when something is not so clear, not even for the author, at least you know that!
I hope I can say something useful, and collaborate.
bye

Pokemon Adoption Center Style bit
editI'm sorry for trying to insert a policy into the page concerning beginning each Pokemon creature article with "The", but I figured it was an issue that had to be brought into the spotlight. As you may have noticed, especially on pages like Dorapion, there's a lot of edit wars over this issue between noobs and editors like HighwayCello (who insists that starting each article as "The Dorapion" is covered by policy on the style sheet), but from what I can tell on the policy page this is only implied; it's not explicitly stated. So, I'm hoping there can be a discussion deciding in print that each creature article should or should not begin with "The", so that edit wars can hopefully be toned down as a result. What do you think? Erik the Appreciator 01:46, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Big Brother 7 chronology on deletion review
editAn editor has asked for a deletion review of Big Brother 7 chronology. Since you closed the deletion discussion for (or speedy-deleted) this article, your reasons on how or why you did so will be greatly appreciated in the above review. --Deathphoenix ʕ 16:56, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

editCan you stop it? Highway Batman! 19:14, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, I had ran around Torchic, Bulbasaur, Pachirisu and Cherimu twice, I wasn't up for a third lap. How many 14 year olds with a PhD in Pokémon grammar are going to enrage me today? Highway Batman! 19:21, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Talk:Bulbasaur was just a blast. It's amazing the things you watch as a nine year old can come in handy when debating. Why can't we just call them Bulbsaurs? *headdesk* Highway Batman! 19:26, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
DRV
editI've withdrawn my vote since your decision was clearly endorsed before, but you still try and offer reasons when you close AfD with unclear consensus issues. It's pretty frustrating for an editor to put research work into establishing whether a problematic AfD is warranted or not, just to be wholesale ignored by the closing admin. ~ trialsanderrors 21:47, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
