Further Information
editThis project is proposed essentially to be an expansion of the current WikiProject A-League, and, if implemented, will supersede that project. All project pages from WP:A-L will be moved into the new project. If the projects were kept separate, the majority of members would be the same across both, and many discussion would be directly related to both projects – merging them ensures that everything is kept centrally. If members wished only to work on A-League or alternatively only on Australian football outside the A-League, this is still entirely possible with an expanded project, with the advantage that we would possibly be able to attract more members who are interested in Australian football in general.
Comments
edit- Put any comments/ideas that you have here
- The logo at the top of this page is by no means final – it was just my quick attempt to make something up for the project. If you are more skilled, have an idea or your own or can improve it at all, feel free to do so. – AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 07:50, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Is intended to do something about women's football?--Hack 09:13, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm sure it could, Matildas is already there in the goals and if there are people around with enough knowledge of Women's football in Australia (i.e. I couldn't do it) IMO that could be included. -[dM] 09:26, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Anything that will help develop and expand the wikipedia coverage of Australian Soccer is a great idea and everyone who is a participant of Wikiproject A-league should lend a hand where they can. --Stuart D. 08:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Should there be an entry for Northern New South Wales under leagues and state governing bodies? They are separate from Soccer NSW and are a constituent federation of the FFA...--Hack 09:23, 23 October 2006 (UTC)--
- Yeh sure, this was just a quick list, not supposed to be completely exhaustive - I didn't know about the Northern NSW thing. Cheers – AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 22:39, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
