UAAP Season 87 is the 2024–25 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). It will be hosted by the University of the Philippines (UP) under the theme "Stronger, Better, Together". The opening ceremony was held on September 7, 2024.[1][2][3]
Starting this season, a change was introduced regarding the transfer of student athletes from one school to another. Transferees will still be required to sit out for one year before playing for their new school but their five years of eligibility will have to be reduced by two instead of one year.[4][5]
