Because of its location, it serves as a local transportation hub.[5]
History
editWilliam Mahaffey and John Foster were the principal partners to start the mall.[2] With other investors, they leased the property from the Hartland family.[2] Prior to construction, the site of the mall was the site of an archaeological excavation.[6] In September 1992, construction started and it was opened a year later.[2]
