Premise
editThe Kingdom of Hermes has fallen, and alchemy is now being widely used across the kingdom. Attempts to halt the use of magic have failed, and plague-infected monsters are prowling the streets; the kingdom is in chaos.[4]
Corvus is the kingdom's only hope.
Gameplay
editPlayers assume the role of Corvus, covered in a feather cape and plague mask, on a quest to save the kingdom from a plague. Players move around to various locations battling mutant monsters and infected inhabitants.
Reception
editThymesia received mixed reviews on Metacritic.[5][6][7] IGN wrote, "Thymesia's aggressive combat can be enjoyable, but it's an adventure that's easily forgettable otherwise."[3] Although they felt some parts "don't gel", GameSpot said that it is overall "a small, smart, and rewarding Souls-like experience".[8]
