History
editTo respond to the boom of low cost flights in the early 1990s, Fabio Petroni created the Terravision Group.[citation needed] The company opened its first route, between Ciampino Airport and Rome city centre, in 2002 and now has more than 18 airport transfer services all over Europe carrying more than 10,000 passengers per day.[citation needed] In October 2013 Terravision formed an alliance with City Sightseeing that will see it sell bus tour tickets.[2] The firm employs more than 300 people worldwide.[citation needed] One of its competitors in the United Kingdom is easyBus.
Services
editAs of 2024, Terravision operates coach services connecting European airports in 14 countries with nearby cities. Besides serving several airport services in Italy, one or more routes exist in the areas of Vienna, Brussels, Prague, Paris, Munich, Budapest, Reykjavík, Amsterdam, Faro, Barcelona, Málaga, Alicante, Jerez de la Frontera, London, Bristol and Malta.[1]
Data breach
editIn February 2023, Terravision suffered a data breach that exposed over 2 million records of customer data including names, phone numbers, email addresses, salted password hashes and in some cases, date of birth and country of origin. Terravision did not respond to multiple attempts by individuals over a period of months to report the incident.[3]
