A request for more detail to be shown at the foot of the line diagram

In the Wikipedia article on Castleford station, it shows that the first station was open from 1840 to 1871 and as a result of new operational line improvements in the 1870s, the new location of the now-existing Castleford station was quite some distance away and a new curve is mentioned in the article.
Castleford station is shown in its currently open position at the very foot of the template and I ask if the template could be amended to show the later curve and the position of the original Castleford station in relation to the post 1871 later station and the subsequent track changes.

- Since the Y&NMR became part of the North Eastern Railway in 1854, I can't see the logic of showing a station that didn't exist for another two decades. Useddenim (talk) 21:31, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
That does not alter the fact that the first sited Castleford station (1840-1871)was indeed part of the original York and North Midland Railway. You are confusing the second (and currently open) Castleford station which is the one that did not exist for another two decades.
