The Template:Space exploration lists and timelines was initially a good idea, trying to collect spaceflight-related articles by collecting their lists. However, it has been filled with less relevant topics, just notable for inclusion in that template for happening to being spaceflight-related lists (such as List of Mir spacewalks, notable indeed but I think there are many other articles deserving a look before going to that one). Therefore, I think we need a general spaceflight template. Templates to further related articles may be found in the subarticles of this one. This template is a good idea, but it probably makes sense to pro-actively address the question implied above, i.e. "What are the criteria for inclusion of a topic in this template?" Is it, for example, somehow connected to the "spaceflight-importance" value in the corresponding {{WPSpace}} template? (sdsds - talk) 23:13, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
