Clarification/Split request

edit

Hello. I'm curious if this template would be better if it said "Judicial offices" or "Judiciary offices" instead of "court offices" since DAs, clerks, baliffs, etc. are also court offices... If not, should another be created to distinguish between when a person was a judge, and when they weren't in the case of a person like William Howard Taft, who was Chief Justice, but also Solicitor General? Thanks for your time. Foofighter20x (talk) 04:48, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

This template is to be used for offices in royal courts; for offices connected to the judicial system, {{s-legal}} ought to be used. For more details about the header system, please see WikiProject Succession Box Standardization's guidelines.
We really need to make the documentation clearer; it is only reasonable that you should be confused...Waltham, The Duke of 23:33, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
