As {{Resize/TemplateData}} is now transcluded within {{Resize/doc}}, please replace the current template with this (the current) version in the sandbox. Sardanaphalus (talk) 00:37, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- Not done. This breaks the "Manage templateData" button. As much as I'd like to put it /TemplateData, MediaWiki has other ideas which need to be resolved first.

06:35, 18 November 2014 (UTC)- Understood. Thanks for the explanation – does it mean that these two edits [1] [2] I requested also break the TemplateData button..? Sardanaphalus (talk) 16:22, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- No, they were already broken, as the button really wants all template data on the same page as the template.

Issue with question marks in urls breaking template
edit{{resize|1=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whatever}}
User:GKFXtalk 18:21, 20 May 2021 (UTC)This template seems not to work if given a url with a ? in it.
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch becomes https://www.youtube.com/watch ; while https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sI9aq-mn1dA becomes {{{1}}}.
Can this be fixed? —A L T E R C A R I ✍ 05:55, 12 June 2017 (UTC)

Template:Resize has been listed at Templates for discussion (nomination), but it was protected, so it could not be tagged. Please add:
{{subst:tfm|help=off|1=Template talk:Resize}}
to the top of the page to complete the nomination. Thank you. ―Mandruss ☎ 01:55, 25 July 2024 (UTC)

Please remove the changes made by Sohom Datta. Every page with an asteroid with no proper name mentioned now breaks from "‹ The template below (Resize) is being considered for merging. See templates for discussion to help reach a consensus. ›" TerrariaTree3852 (talk) 09:05, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- I think it would be better to instead noinclude the tag or instead add
type=disabled
to the template's parameters. —*Fehufangą (✉ Talk · ✎ Contribs) 09:23, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
Merging with Template:Midsize
editTemplate:Midsize will be merged with this template. It has 2 parameters not present here. One can likely be ignored (|height=
), and the other should be added for adjustable font-size (|size=
). {{Midsize}} has only a few hundred transclusions, so my plan is:
- Push the changes live there.
- Remove usage of the
|height=
parameter. - Push the changes live here, so that both templates have the same code.
- Convert {{midsize}} into a redirect.
The documentation will then need to be updated. Feedback is welcome, Rjjiii (talk) 03:08, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks Jonesey95! I saw your comment at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Holding cell, after making this thread and changes to the templates. Rjjiii (talk) 13:40, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- I checked to ensure that the other parameters were no longer being used, then converted Template:midsize into a redirect. When I converted to a redirect,
|1=
was the only parameter in use, according to the TemplateData monthly report. Please report any problems here, and I will work to fix them. – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:47, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
