@Frietjes and Plastikspork: I will update the doc to remove defaults for image captions for example "Patch of the |{agencyname=". I recently added TemplateData and using the monthly parameter usage report I see that |imagesize= is still used in several articles. Originally, the code included both |imagesize= and |image_size= with |imagesize= removed in Rehman's re-write in April 2018. |imagesize= will need to be replaced with underscore |image_size= in the articles. I want to see what articles are using "Local civilian agency" for the "General nature" label. It is tricky as the parameter |local= has two uses in the code for the "General nature" label. Firstly, it changes |police= from "Civilian police" to "Local civilian police" when used together. Secondly, |local= can also be used in isolation to display "Local civilian agency". Frietjes explains in the section above, {{Infobox law enforcement agency|military=|provost=|gendarmerie=|local=y}}. Is there a way to generate a list of all articles that use |local= for "Local civilian agency" in isolation without |police=? As I am considering removing it or renaming etc.. Usage report shows |local= is used 689 times.--Melbguy05 (talk) 07:36, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Plastikspork: thanks for the quick reply. The switch code (3) - local civilian agency displayed with local civilian police as (4) didn't check if |police= was blank. I have changed (4) so that it now checks that |police= is blank which means now only local civilian police displays. I think this was the intention of the infobox code author Pee Tern (now Aoziwe), I discussed this a few weeks ago User talk:Aoziwe on their talk trying to understand |local=. An agency that didn't use the word police was termed a local civilian agency.--Melbguy05 (talk) 15:41, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Frietjes and Plastikspork: Hi, I want to check the codes used from Template:Specialist lea type descr in |speciality1= to |speciality6= to perhaps revise the wording and add new ones. From the monthly parameter usage report I can see the unique values for |speciality2= to |speciality5= but not |speciality1= which has over > 50 unique values. Is there another way to see the unique values of |speciality1=? Otherwise, I need to check each of the 216 articles that use |speciality1=. thanks --Melbguy05 (talk) 05:21, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Melbguy05: Here are the pages using the speciality parameters:

The header for vehicles, boats, aircraft and animals parameters is "Facilities". I propose separating these with a new header "Equipment". This leaves stations, airbases and lockups parameters which are buildings with the Facilities header. I created a test case. Some definitions of facilities do include equipment. I prefer a precise heading. The documentation advises editors they can use the buildings parameters for equipment as well. The usage report shows that |lockuptype= does not have any equipment values so separating shouldn't affect any articles.--Melbguy05 (talk) 08:21, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Plastikspork: Hi, you helped me with tracking a few years ago. I was hoping you might be able to help again. I need a tracking category for |overviewbody=. I am replacing |overviewbody= with |oversightbody=. I have been using the TemplateData monthly parameter usage report to find articles using |overviewbody=.
