Case adjustment request
editPer IUCN docs and MOS:CAPS, none of the category names should be capitalized. Probably also not the word "category". Can someone please adjust? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dicklyon (talk • contribs) 14:18, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
- I created a sandbox version that follows your suggestion. Once any bugs are worked out we can ask for it to become the active version –droll [chat] 22:04, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
- Notice that I changed the text so that it agrees with the documentation. I'm going to request comment at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Protected areas. –droll [chat] 23:13, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

The word 'resources' is spelled wrong for category VI. Please copy the sandbox to the template page. The current testcases are here. Thanks, --Bamyers99 (talk) 00:57, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Reference?
editI've run into a number of {{Infobox protected area}} pages that include a reference for their IUCN param. Should we add support for that to this template? --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 23:53, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

The article "Strict nature reserve" exists, so there is no need for the hyperlinked phrase "Strict nature reserve" to instead link to the less specific article "Nature reserve" as it does in this template. ZFT (talk) 23:30, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
In other words, change "[[Nature reserve|strict nature reserve]]" to "[[Strict nature reserve]]" ZFT (talk) 23:43, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

Please wikilink the word "category" or the roman numerals for each category to IUCN protected area categories. This provides the necessary context to understand the categories much better than just International Union for Conservation of Nature. - Done The categories article seems more relevant to me, too. Thanks! Matt Fitzpatrick (talk) 03:30, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
