Caption formatting

edit

Can the formatting of the caption text be adjusted so as to match the captions of image thumbnails, which the cladogram box otherwise resembles? -- Yzx (talk) 08:05, 30 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Black background problem

edit

I use green text on a black background to reduce the background brightness. I suppose that there are supposed to be lines visible in the cladogram, but I am unable to see them. Axl ¤ [Talk] 10:35, 15 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Poor display in Safari

edit

This template does not display entirely correctly in the Safari browser on an iPad or on a MacBook Air in the article Archicebus achilles. (It does display correctly in Firefox on the MacBook Air.) The horizontal line from, for example, Strepsirrhini is on the same level as that for Adaptiformes, ie, it is not offset downward (as it is in Firefox). Can this problem be fixed so it displays better in Safari without disrupting the display in Firefox? Or will we have to wait until Apple improves Safari? --Robert.Allen (talk) 17:40, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Removing background-color: white;

edit

I'm proposing removing the background-color: white; style from the template as it's very bad for dark mode users and mobile users, this is also in part to make the switch to the new dark mode being developed easier, as dark mode on desktop is going to become more accessible, for more information see mw:Recommendations for dark mode compatibility on Wikimedia wikis#Avoid inline background and text colors. If anyone has any problems feel free to BRD. WanderingMorpheme 18:05, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
