==Local Elections==
Right now there are no articles on local elections, but I think in the future it is reasonable to expect there will be separate articles for different types of local elections. Bangladesh is the most densely populated country larger than a city state, and so local administration plays an important part in the country's politics. It is standard that there are major campaigns and conflicts over elections for offices that rarely if ever receive such attention at comparable levels in other countries: for example, in the most recent elections for the union parishads, which are the smallest level of elected government, at least 145 people died in partisan clashes – that may have been an extreme case, but not an atypical one. This is why on the list I at least differentiated the big city corporation elections for now, since these appear to have separate campaigns, and other categories of local elections are nationally coordinated with different types held in separate years.
